TurfMutt was spinning in circles of joy this morning when he saw this story posted on the Love M.O.M. blog. M.O.M. stands for Mothers of the Month. The Love M.O.M. website and blog encourages, inspires and empowers mothers with resources and tools.
TurfMutt’s human, Kris Kiser, the president and CEO of the Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, was interviewed for the blog post. In the story, he shared the real-life rescue story about Lucky, the inspiration behind the TurfMutt environmental education and stewardship program. (You can read Lucky’s streets-to-superhero story here.)
Kris also shared the fact that he and TurfMutt are appearing this season on the Emmy Award-winning “Lucky Dog” TV show that airs Saturday mornings on CBS. For the show, Kris and TurfMutt are on a mission to educate Lucky Dog viewers about how to create environmentally responsible living landscapes that are perfect for pets and families.
