As you’re counting your blessings this week, a new study suggests you should add Fido to the top of your list of “things to be thankful for.” According to the BarkBox Dog Parent Study, dogs have an overwhelmingly positive influence on humans’ lives.

This is study TurfMutt can really get behind! Here are a few of the highlights, but you can read more about the results – and watch a cute dog video – here.

  • Nearly all the dog parents surveyed (93%) say their dog has made them a better person in at least one way.
  • 85% of dog parents say their pup has helped them navigate a difficult time in their life.
  • Dogs help make people more patient, per 54% of those studied.
  • Four out of five pup parents (83%) said their dog has made them more active, and 72% of humans surveyed said their dog plays a role in their exercise decisions.

It’s important for your dog to have good green space to romp, play and rest in. To learn tips for successfully managing your living landscapes, even if your community is experiencing drought, visit LivingLandscapesMatter.com.
