Happy National Mutt Day from TurfMutt!

Dec. 2 is National Mutt Day (a.k.a. National Mixed Breed Day), and TurfMutt wants to wish all his fellow mutts out there a happy day!

TurfMutt has quite the wags to riches story. Before he was a backyard superhero, he was a scared little pup, living all alone on the streets. He didn’t have a house to sleep in, a blanket to curl up with, or a yard to play in.

But one day, his dreams came true! He was rescued by a kind man who gave him a great home with lots of green living landscapes to romp in.

The man named him Lucky, and it really fit! The more Lucky played outside, the more strong and powerful he became. That’s when he realized how important well-maintained green spaces are to everyone.

But Lucky learned that not everyone cares about their surroundings like he does. Environmental bad guys like Carbon Creep, Dust Demon, Dr. Runoff and Heat Freak are trying to ruin living landscapes.

So, Lucky put on his blanket like superhero’s cape and became TurfMutt. He now uses his powers to spread the word that we all need to work together to stop the bad guys and protect our turf.
