October is Adopt-a-Dog Month, and in honor of homeless dogs everywhere TurfMutt wanted to share his incredible true rescue story. You see, TurfMutt hasn’t always been a superdog. He used to be a scared little pup, living all alone on the street with no house to live in, blanket to curl up with or yard to play in.

Then one day his dreams came true when a kind man (Kris Kiser, President & CEO of OPEI), found him and gave him a great home and a great name – Lucky! As Lucky played in his yard filled with green grass and clean air, he realized how important well-maintained green spaces are to everyone.

That’s when he put on his superhero’s cape and became TurfMutt. He decided to use his powers to spread the word that we all need to work together to protect the living landscapes around us.

TurfMutt needs your help to battle the environmental bad guys like Carbon Creep, Dust Demon, Dr. Runoff and Heat Freak. Will you help him save the planet, one yard at a time?
