Get living landscape tips on “Lucky Dog” this week

This Saturday on the popular Lucky Dog show, TurfMutt’s human Kris will be featured as he surveys the yard of a California family hoping to adopt a neglected terrier mix named Muffin. This dog-loving family devotes much of its time to the Special Olympics. Before Muffin can hit the road with her new family, she’ll need to correct her begging habit and prove to trainer Brandon McMillan that she’s ready for a life of travel.

As part of the episode, Kris pays a visit to Muffin’s prospective new home to see if the family yard is suitable for a furry friend. He’s thrilled to find a beautiful living landscape, even in an area that is more desert-like. The episode features an extensive scene with Kris pointing out the positive aspects of the family’s living landscape, including mature trees, established turfgrass, and lush plants for birds and other wildlife.
