Happy National Cat Day from TurfMutt

TurfMutt would like to wish all of his feline friends a very happy National Cat Day.

National Cat Day was started to dream about, marvel at and celebrate the lives of cats. Cat lovers are encouraged to spoil your fur babies a little more on National Cat Day.

You can buy them a new toy drenched in cat nip, give them a special treat, spend extra time cuddling, or make a donation to an animal shelter in their honor. If your family is in the market for a new furry friend, you could make today the day you bring a shelter cat into your home.

According to the ASPCA, about 3.2 million cats enter U.S. animal shelters each year. Approximately 1.6 million cats are adopted from shelters each year.
