Summer time is the perfect time to get outdoors.  Granted, there are moments that heat and humidity make it dangerous to be outside for too long, but when the temperature allows, there are a multitude of physical and mental benefits to getting outside (and away from the  TV and other electronics).   A good article summarizes, with links to supporting research, the many benefits of getting out in Nature.

  • Quicker healing
  • Enhanced vision
