TurfMutt introduces us to Dakota on “Lucky Dog”

TurfMutt is a sponsor for the Lucky Dog show that airs as part of “CBS Dream Team, It’s Epic!” on Saturday mornings. This week’s episode features a rescued Malamute mix, Dakota. Before Dakota can provide comfort to a teenager with anxiety, Brandon McMillan – trainer extraordinaire! – must first help the dog overcome his own emotional issues.

Will Dakota be able to become more confident? And what about Dakota’s new yard? Will it make the TurfMutt grade?

Watch as TurfMutt’s human, Kris Kiser (OPEI president & CEO) works with the adoptive family to ensure their yard is ready for Dakota. Kris discusses the value of a living landscape and talks about using adaptive plantings to mitigate the heat island effect.
