TurfMutt Announces 2nd Annual Spruce Up Your School Sweepstakes

Could your child’s school use an eco-friendly outdoor makeover? If so, you should encourage your kid’s teacher to enter TurfMutt’s Spruce Up Your School Sweepstakes.

The winning school will receive a $5,000 grant to help make the grounds around the school more eco-friendly by adding trees, shrubbery and more. Two runners up will also receive ‘Green Packs’ with TurfMutt school supplies for the whole classroom.

The entry must be submitted by a teacher of grades K-5. They can enter once a day, every day to increase the odds of winning.

Last year’s winner was Ms. Mary Anne Arabia’s fifth grade class from Palomar Elementary School in Chula Vista, Calif. With the TurfMutt grant the school was able to add much-needed shade and additional greenery to the outdoor play area.
