TurfMutt’s human, Kris, was featured on WHAS-11 today, a TV station in Louisville. Kris appeared on the show (along with a sweet dog named Chill!) to talk about the upcoming adoption event sponsored by TurfMutt called MUTT MADNESS.

MUTT MADNESS is part of GIE+EXPO, the green industry and power equipment trade show that is being hosted in Louisville this week. The 25,000 attendees at GIE+EXPO will have the chance to “paw it forward” by adopting a pet from the Kentucky Humane Society. GIE+EXPO attendees will be meeting adoptable pets at MUTT MADNESS on Thursday at Freedom Hall.

While the MUTT MADNESS event is not open to the public, you can go to your local humane shelter to find your next fur-ever friend. Each year, about 3.2 million shelter animals are adopted (1.6 million dogs and 1.6 million cats). Could one of them be yours?
