The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute (OPEI) just launched the TurfMutt Foundation, which will carry on the legacy of Lucky the TurfMutt. Read more about The Foundation and the accomplishments of the TurfMutt program, which is celebrating its 10th anniversary in 2019, here.

Lucky the TurfMutt helped us look at yards in a different way. We now see through TurfMutt’s eyes, realizing that our backyards, parks and school yards have a larger purpose. They are a suburban and urban habitat that supports our ecology and climate. They provide food for pollinators and wildlife. And they give us a safe and healthy place to play, relax and de-stress.
