The TurfMutt Foundation directs the TurfMutt environmental education and stewardship program, which teaches that nature starts at your backdoor and taking care of our managed green spaces is good for our families and communities, pets, wildlife and the planet.
The program’s first “spokesdog” was Lucky, a rescue dog adopted by Kris Kiser. A tablecloth was draped around Lucky’s neck and a superhero was born. He loved it!
Now, Mutt Mulligan has taken on superhero duties to continue the TurfMutt program’s message: save the planet one yard at a time. These rescue dogs are “pawing it forward” because who knows the power of a yard or park more than a dog?
