Happy National Mutt Day from Mutt Mulligan

July 31 is National Mutt Day. We are honoring our favorite mutt by giving you a pup-date on Mutt Mulligan, the spokesdog for the TurfMutt Foundation.

Mulligan is a mixed breed rescue puppy who was abandoned along with her siblings, rescued by the Kentucky Humane Society, and adopted by TurfMutt Foundation president, Kris Kiser, during the 2019 Lucky’s Mutt Madness adoption event at GIE+EXPO. (She was so little!)

Since joining the TurfMutt Foundation pack, Mulligan – or MoMo as Kris calls her – has been busy learning the ropes. Here’s MoMo getting a lesson from Kris at the TurfMutt Foundation office.

Mulligan helped Kris plant in the yard this spring. They know their backyard is a safe space that offers a place to play and de-stress during the pandemic.

All that yard work makes a super pup super tired.

In the era of COVID-19, MoMo promotes social distancing, wearing a mask, and good hand hygiene.

Working with Mutt Mulligan in the office is always an adventure! Kris tends to business in the background while MoMo hams it up for the camera.

MoMo can’t wait to get back outside to play with her friends. It’s her favorite “room” at the house.
