School’s out for the holiday break, and if your kids are already claiming to be bored TurfMutt has a solution!

TurfMutt’s Family Activities Guide is chock-full of ideas for activities that are not only fun, but also educational. So download the guide, and help your kids unplug from TV, video games and computers to learn about the green space that surrounds them.

Here’s just a sample of the fun and informative family activities that are included.

• Create an outdoor composting area. Read more about composting in cold weather.
• Take a hike with your dog. (This is one of TurfMutt’s favorite tips!)
• Go on a “carbon footprint scavenger hunt” to search for all the ways you are already storing carbon in your yard (grass, trees, shrubs, etc.) and identify ways you could improve your carbon footprint.
